On August 9th and August 16th, special recall Elections will be held in the State of Wisconsin that will determine control of the Wisconsin State Senate. If Democratic challengers are successful in these Elections, it will put an end to the implementation of Governor Walker’s ultra conservative agenda. It will also send a clear message nationwide that a far-right agenda that harms working class Americans for the benefit of big business will NOT be tolerated.

Phone banking for Election Day Volunteers: Wisconsin needs help phone banking their lists of Attorney's to recruit volunteers for Election Day poll watching. Traveling to Wisconsin: In Wisconsin, people who live out of State are allowed to go inside the polls as poll watchers. Supporters are generously opening their homes to our out-of-town volunteers who may need a place to stay.

Summer is coming to an end, and hopefully so is Governor Walker’s disastrous agenda. The DNC needs law students to step up and play a part in making certain that every vote is counted. Law students are ideally suited for these Election Protection Efforts since we can use our legal training to protect against voter disenfranchisement and intimidation, and ensure the integrity of the voting process.
