The Rutgers School of Law - Camden Democrats invite you to a discussion with Lieutenant Governor Matthew Denn of Delaware on September 28, 2011, at 12:30pm. The event will take place at the Rutgers School of Law - Camden campus.

Please join us for a presentation and discussion with Delaware's Lieutenant Governor, Matthew Denn. Lt. Gov. Denn took office in January 2009. In addition to working with Governor Jack Markell on balancing Delaware's budget, reducing the state's energy consumption, and improving schools, Lt. Gov. Denn also chairs the Delaware Criminal Justice Council. Upon graduation from Yale Law in 1991, Lt. Gov. Denn returned home to begin his legal career with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services. He then went on to private practice while serving on a number of boards and commissions. After serving as former Governor Ruth Ann Minner's legal counsel, Lt. Gov. Denn was elected State Insurance Commissioner and served in that position until 2009.

Lt. Gov. Denn will be speaking to students about his career in politics and his commitment to children's legal issues.
