Joel Murray is a second-year student at the University of California, Davis, School of Law. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Joel attended the University of Washington where he was active in campus politics, and advocated for more affordable tuition and financial aid for students. Following his graduation from UW, Joel completed his MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics. Joel has worked on three successful ballot measure campaigns in Washington State, primarily focusing on organizing and communications. In his spare time he enjoys golf, live music, reading, rooting for the Huskies, and travel.

Sonny Thatch is a 2nd year law student at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. A Chicago native, Sonny received his B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University’s Honors Program. While in law school, Sonny served as a poll observer with Obama for America. Prior to law school, Sonny served as an election judge in Illinois and as a Washington, D.C. intern for the Senate Assistant Majority Leader, Richard Durbin (IL). An avid tennis player, Sonny also finds time to serve as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he serves on the National Commodore’s staff.

Justin Jones is a graduate of Tuskegee University located in Tuskegee, AL. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.A.in Political Science. While at Tuskegee he was the President of Alpha Kappa Mu, a member of Pi Sigma Tau, and a Distinguished Presidential Scholarship Award recipient. He has gained a wealth of experience while working for the National Park Service at the George Washington Carver Museum and a Tuskegee University, Senior Caller. He is currently a law student at the University of Alabama School of Law where he is an active member in many organizations.

Adrienne Rose is a J.D. candidate at the New York University School of Law. Adrienne received her B.A. in Urban Studies (Political Science) with a minor in Mathematics from Barnard College in 2003. Prior to law school, she worked as Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman Adam Schiff in Washington, DC, and she assisted the congressman with his work on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science. Adrienne grew up in Los Angeles and currently lives in New York.

Brandon Buchanan is a law school student at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Brandon was born and raised to a 19-year-old single mother through whom he learned the values of self-sacrifice and caring for others.
Before attending law school in 2009, Brandon served for 3 years on the City Council in Eau Claire, Wisconsin as an at-large Alderman representing over 65,000 residents. Brandon was 23 when he was elected and is the youngest person ever to to serve on Council in Eau Claire. In 2008, Brandon was the Regional Field Director for Congressman Ron Kind's reelection. Brandon is a committed Democrat who's favorite Congressman, after Ron Kind, is Alan Grayson.

Lynn is a 2012 J.D. candidate at NYU School of Law where she is currently serving as the Co-President of the law democrats. In addition to local campaigns in Missouri, Lynn worked on President Barack Obama's campaign in New Hampshire, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Florida. Before leaving to attend NYU, she was David Plouffe's assistant in Washington, DC and looks forward to returning to our nation's capital this summer. Lynn is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ and earned her BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Judah Ariel is a 2011 J.D. candidate at New York University School of Law, where he previously served as president of the Law Democrats and co-founded NYU Law for Obama. Prior to law school, Judah worked for Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) on the House International Relations and Ways & Means Committees, successfully passing legislation on global access to safe drinking water, illegal logging, and the Iraqi refugee crisis, as well as helping to negotiate the first enforceable environmental standards in a U.S. trade agreement. Judah has worked on statewide Democratic campaigns in Ohio and Massachusetts and is spending this summer working at Sidley Austin LLP, the firm where Barack and Michelle Obama met. Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Judah has a B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University.
